Hey! I’m Jess. After graduating with a BFA in Writing from the Pratt Institute, and completing a book of poetry about a mouse with Stockholm Syndrome and everyday forms of captivity titled “I’m Seeing Orange,” I have started craving the opportunity to work on a collaborative, creative team. I am a diversely talented person who enjoys engaging very closely with language and material.

I have worked on a range of writing projects, starting from the time I was 18 doing script coverage at a production studio in Los Angeles to copywriting for a culty architecture company to publishing personal work on a digital magazine called FattyStrap. I’ve done editing work, journalistic work, copywriting, screenwriting, project proposals, grant writing, website building, user-persona profiling, short stories, poetry, autofiction and nonfiction. I strive to create a fulfilling career in writing as a versatile and uniquely minded individual. Supplemented by my rug-making practice. Balancing language with visual components is soothing.
