Can Men and Women Be Friends? (2023)

In this essay I called my community into question, sometimes interrogation, but mostly conversation about the conventions upon which we build friendship especially between the opposite sexes. This piece represented a turn in my writing practice.

I am currently working on getting my most recent completed essay published somewhere (email jessicawolfe20@gmail.com if interested) or maybe it will become a part of a larger collection of essays in the future. Beginning as “Guns, God’s Plan, Lore and The Walking Dead” I explore the impact of a show that holds up as much as Walking Dead does, it’s impact on my life personally, my thoughts about God’s Plan and how there is connection to be found in the end of the world as we know it.
