My first full collection of writing was completed in 2021. It was a collection of poetry about a mouse with Stockholm Syndrome and everyday forms of captivity. In 2024, it was named a finalist in the Changes Book Prize by Eileen Myles. As with the tradition of the book, I do not gatekeep it so if you send me your email I will send the PDF of it. The book entangles three perspectives, the mouse, the man and an omnipresent third understanding what it means to be entangled. It identifies a phenomenon called “seeing orange,” which is similar to seeing red except replace anger with resentment. It looks at society and the inidivual as they exist in a chaotic swirl with each other.
